Vanessa Dell

I am a visual artist working in the public realm, primarily in the areas of - but not limited to - Education and Health.  I work site specifically, intervening in the built environment in a variety of ways and with a wide range of materials and budgets.

My art practice is one of process and dialogue.  It is based on the relationships between people, places and ideas.  It is also a quest of the spirit.  A quest to make visible that which is invisible, and to render those as unexpected propositions into our everyday lived experience.

What I do

  • architectural interventions
  • text-based artworks
  • outdoor environments
  • lead artist/consultant
  • workshops/engagement programmes

Quote from an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED report 2008, Pound Hill Infant School, Crawley “Visits, visitors and other enrichment activities all support children to progress and attain high standards.”
